Joseph Omansky
Mr. Omansky runs the SkyRank System of Hedge Fund Ratings, which he created in April 2003. Prior to his work on SkyRank, he created and managed an equity options volatility model for Tradelink LLC, a Chicago-based multi-strategy hedge fund. Prior to this, he was an equity options market maker of Lakota Trading Inc., a market-making entity owned by Steve Fossett on the Chicago Board Options Exchange. Early in his career, he worked for Merrill Lynch and Fidelity Investments.
His patent on SkyRank was allowed in December 2008 by the USPTO. He has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, Institutional Investor, Global Pensions Magazine, RealDeals Magazine, and Alpha Magazine. He has been a panel speaker and moderator at several hedge fund conferences throughout the United States. The SkyRank System has appeared on CNBC.
He received his Master's in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis University and his Bachelor's in Economics from Clark University. He has also studied international business at the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico and is fluent in Spanish.
Joseph Jessup
Prior to his work at SkyRank System of Hedge Fund Ratings, Mr. Jessup founded and launched a web marketing service for independent financial advisors, AdvisorAvenue.com, served as a financial consultant to entrepreneurs and small businesses at Sawin Company, and created and ran a community based educational non-profit that sponsored youth athletic programs. Prior to this, he was Vice President at Citibank, responsible for corporate finance/credit transaction and relationship management in the National Banking Division - Specialized Industries Group. His experience includes extensive work with problem portfolios and individual loan restructuring and recovery efforts. Early in his career, Mr. Jessup worked in finance for International Paper Company.
He is a CFA, received his MBA in Finance and Banking from Indiana University, and his Bachelor's in Economics from DePauw University.
